The information in this tab applies to professional development of employees of the Kentucky Office of Vocational Rehabilitation. KYOVR Training Facility
The agency utilizes a training site in Frankfort to conduct much of the face-to-face training required of the staff. This space is also utilized for agency meetings as needed. The following are the directions and physical address of the site.

From Louisville: From 1-64 East turn onto Exit 53B toward Frankfort and merge onto highway 127 north. Once on 127 make a left turn at the 5th traffic light. (Big lots will be on the right and NAPA Auto Parts on the left). After turning at the light make an immediate right onto the access road in front of Napa Auto Parts. Follow the access road and the parking for the training center will be on the left.

The federal in-service training grant was removed from the federal law when the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) was enacted and funds are not currently available to provide agency personnel with tuition assistance.
The Kentucky Office of Vocational Rehabilitation believes in a well-trained staff to ensure that consumers are receiving services from qualified professionals. All training must be approved by the employee supervisor prior to registration.

Online training is utilized when possible to provide training opportunities to agency personnel. Currently there are two programs in use to engage in online training through the agency. Kentucky Virtual Campus online training can be accessed at the Online Training Link
. Only agency personnel are approved to take these classes.
KELMS is the Kentucky Enterprise Management System utilized by state government to track training history for employees and it also is used to distribute online training. You may learn information about KELMS here
Enterprise Car Rental Program
There is an agreement with the Enterprise Car Rental program that will allow employees to secure transportation for business travel. Specific guidelines regarding the use of this program may be found on the links below.
