Program Goal
Students will acquire skills and knowledge needed to keep buildings in a clean and orderly condition. The Custodial Services program is designed to provide learning experiences in the fundamentals of custodial training such as basic floor/carpet/furniture care, office and classroom cleaning, etc. Building Maintenance provides course work, classroom, and actual hands-on experience in custodial, electrical, plumbing, painting, and groundskeeping tasks.

Admission Qualifications
Moderate walking, standing, stooping, climbing, bending, lifting, and operating floor machines with a resistance of 25lbs are required. The student should be able to follow simple oral or written instruction.
Length of Course
The Custodial Services training program is approximately 360 hours. The Building Maintenance program is 720 hours.
Employment Options
Custodian or maintenance technician in schools, public buildings, colleges, stores, factories, and office buildings.
