​Program Goal

Students will acquire skills and knowledge necessary to receive, store, sort, pack, and ship items.  Students will be able to perform freight handling and product ​control using computers and electronic devices.  In addition, students may be instructed to use a variety of individual lift trucks and materials handling equipment.  Materials Management Infomational Flyer

Admission Qualifications

Using ladders, moderate walking, standing, stooping, bending, lift 10 to 100 lbs., and work with power tools are required.  Good vision and motor coordination are required.  Must identify numbers and letters, follow simple oral and gestured instructions and perform elementary arithmetic when counting inventory.  Some students may need the ability to perform arithmetic computations, read stock numbers and descriptions, and memorize inventory procedures.
