Consumers with communication disorders including the areas of expressive/receptive language skills, fluency, cognition, pragmatics, communication, motor speech, voice, auditory processing, and articulation.
Service Goal
The goal of speech language pathology at the Perkins Center is to provide evaluation, treatment and consultation services to individuals with communication disorders. All speech-language pathologists providing services through the department are licensed by the Kentucky Board of Speech-Language Pathology and hold the certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
