The Life Skills Enhancement Program provides services for individuals with a range of disabilities including but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorders, intellectual disability, learning disabilities and traumatic brain injury. Life Skills is typically offered prior to a skill training program. Participants in the program must require intensive occupational therapy, speech therapy, and physical therapy. Participants should also read at a fourth-grade level or above and have a full-scale intelligence quotient of 60 or above. The program will include Individual and Group Sessions from PT, OT, and Speech Departments.
Program Goal
The primary goal of the Life Skills Enhancement Program is achieving significant and measurable improvement that enable individuals to enjoy a more productive and satisfying life. The Program’s objective is to optimize cognitive, physical, social and vocational functioning. Treatment is practical and targets to development of greater independence, improving everyday functioning, and achieving academic and vocational goals.

Completion
At completion of the evaluation, the Life Skills Enhancement Program interdisciplinary team determines appropriate services. Team staffing occurs throughout the individual's program.
